The Modern Irish History Seminar organisers are excited to announce that we have moved platforms and updated our website in advance of the 2018-2019 academic year. We have made the change in order to reflect our goals of reaching even more researchers and interested parties in all things Irish history. We have retained a great deal of information from the previous website, so you can still see our previous speakers lists, for example, but this new platform will make for an easier to read website.
On top of this, we are aiming to expand the reach of Cambridge's research on Irish history by making our blog more dynamic. We hope to include a wide range of content on the blog. This includes exclusive interviews with speakers, reflections on pieces of research from our students, analysis of influential new works in the field, and more. This will hopefully become a place where researchers can test out theories and receive feedback, as well as hear about what others in the field are doing.
The editorial team is open to contributions that any member of the seminar wishes to make. Please email the seminar or any of the listed seminar organisers with ideas or posts, and they will discuss developing them with you.
We look forward to another great year with the seminar and hope that this update will only improve upon an already enlightening seminar.
